    I don't like what you did with the blade where you inversed the blade kinda.

    I don't really pay attention to the bloody swords, but I like the longer fist spikes.

    Well first tip. Don't try to drastically change the weapon. It looks odd. The blade you can either straighten out or shorten or lengthen. But try not to make it a different shape.

    Second tip. If you do change the shape, Make sure you edit the skins too to follow the edit. i.e what you did what that mid blade spike. The color changes because it's being shrunk. You can try fiddling with the skins till it turns to be the same color as the rest of the blade on the same level as it.

    for your first time, it looks alright.
    I would reccomend not changing the shape to much as well. (Unless fine details are being changed)

    If anyone knows how to export materials to a UV map, that would excellent for me to hear. Because I got a lightsaber going on for the Darth Vader suit, and i am changing the "egg" to a pokeball

    ok that sounds like a good idea but the .dds files for the material layouts are complicated to understand can one of you tell me how to understand them better and maybe i can do something about it...

    well, first you have to find the file you are looking for
    like the bloody sword is a weapon so you would look in the weap section.
    but when you do come across the name, you only need to get the texture that you see in the game. the white/black image you dont need, and do not mess with the puprple image, unless you absolutely know what you are doing.

    when it comes to modifications, you can select certain areas of the weapon and change the size of it. and so forwarth.

    The only limit to what you can do with the DDS textures, is you cannot make the image any bigger. It has to be within the original models lines. So the easiest thing to do, is just make an outline if you plan to recolor/redesign, and keep in the lines.

    And like he said, Don't mess with the Purple or the Black and white ones.
